Toxic and bureaucratic corporate culture. You need to obtain the approval from all stakeholder before you can even make a single step forward, which inevitably affects the speed of your work. But then you would be reprimanded for taking too long to do something (unreasonable expectations from superiors). Company's culture encourage the proliferation of micromanagement, abuse of power and authoritarianism. Overall, it depends on the characters of your boss and colleagues and unfortunately most of the managers there are authoritarian, unreasonable and don't shy from asserting their power.
P.S. Make sure to ask for a clear and define job responsibilities and corporate structure. Tolerating gray zones in these area will allow your boss to force you to do irrelevant work, allow other managers besides your boss to order you around. Oh and be clear on your working schedule or you may be given more and more work until you have no choice but to work overtime. In that case, you're not entitled to any overtime pay, because you do it "voluntarily"
