Loss/Claim Adjuster

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for surveys (all over Indonesia) with regards to claim instruction from our principal and ensuring there are carried out in accordance with the policies and procedures set out by the company.
• To ensure claim handling process timely and professionally to in line with the standard procedure.
• Working closely and fully supports Company Team Claim to smooth the process of handling claims to ensure and secure appropriate authentication and documentation of claims.
• Examines and evaluates claims for payment of Industrial / Property / Commercial losses; approves or denies claims as appropriate; initiates payment actions and makes adjustment to funds reserves as needed.
• Investigates claims for compensability, potential subrogation and possible fraud; conducts activity checks and other reviews on disputed claims; obtains recorded statements and other evidence; documents results of examination or investigation; requests outside investigations, surveillance or other actions as needed.
• Conducts negotiations for settlement of claims with claimants and attorneys; insures preparation and filing of necessary legal documents.
• Prepares reports on claims and other information as required.
• To liaise with other insurance, reinsurance, loss adjusters and other relevant companies to ensure proper claim handling and settlement.

Requirements:

• Male, maximum age 27 years old.
• Bachelor degree in Civil Engineering.
• Fresh graduate / with experience.
• Possesses good communication, interpersonal, analytic and negotiation skills.
• Computer literate (Word & Excel) is a must.
• Proficient in English both oral & written.
• Able to work under-pressure.
• Willing to travel around Indonesia
