Senior Technical Sales Engineer
The incumbent will be responsible for selling Chemlok and Structural Adhesives directly to Key and/or strategic customers and through distribution in Indonesia. Responsibilities include maintaining existing sales, generate sales by developing new customer accounts, provide technical service, manage collection efficiently, gather market intelligence and provide correct sales forecast for planning inventories. The incumbent will need to compliance with Indonesia environmental regulations - Occupational Safety and Health Act 1974.
Achieve annual sales & margin plans. To spot an opportunity and value sell of Lord assigned products. To maintain receivables > 95 % and DSO < 55 days. Develop Strategic customer accounts for long term growth.
Achieve annual sales targets. Develop value proposition and value sell structural adhesives products to new customers. Identify and develop new customer accounts to generate new business in Chemlok and structural adhesives. Monitoring, analyzing and maintaining sales data and report them periodically. Sales Forecasting & meet inventory targets Meet collection & DSO targets Conduct product trials, recommend products, and resolve customer complaints through coordinating with internal teams. Conduct customer and distributor training programs. Responsible for gathering market and competitive intelligence.
Graduate/Diploma in Engineering (Polymer/Mechanical/ Chemical) 3-5 years experience of Industrial selling, especially selling product technology related products
Mandatory Job Requirements:
(The requirements that an individual must absolutely possess to perform the essential functions of the job) Graduate/Diploma in Engineering ( Polymer, Chemical, Natural Science) Previous sales experience with proven track record in achieving market growth in Specialty Chemical Industry Strong verbal and written communication Skills Ability to function as a team player. Computer Literate in Microsoft Word, Excel & Power Point. Fluent in English, Bahasa Indonesia (Japanese/Mandarin as additional advantages) Excellent presentation skills. Motivated, Self starter with strong work ethic. Hands on approach, patient and willingness to travel.
Non- Mandatory Job Requirements:
