The Yahoo! Communications team is looking for a highly motivated and experienced Technical Program Manager to manage a diverse set of mobile projects. We're looking for someone with a proven track record of driving projects to successful completion. Candidate should be able to thrive in a dynamic work environment.
Program Manager, based in Indonesia
(Jakarta Raya) Responsibilities:

Author and manage the project plan, schedule, and resources. Ensure project status, risks and open issues are documented and all stakeholders are informed in a timely manner

Work closely with engineering, QA and product teams to track deliverables and to hit milestones as outlined in the project plan

Drive cross-functional team deliverables, schedules, hitting target milestones and managing assigned projects according to plan
-
Lead team meetings to ensure that roadblocks and open issues are removed
-
Communicate weekly status and completion of deliverables to overall team

Coordinate product roadmaps and drive teams to meet the milestones outlined in the plan

Work with other program managers to align schedules and release dates to meet deadlines, identifying risks and removing roadblocks for team members
Requirements:
-
5-8 years of technical program management experience with large, distributed and global systems

Ability to work with teams across multiple time zones and geographic locations
-
Expertise in developing detailed plans for complex projects, with changing requirements, limited resources, and fixed deadlines

Expertise in project management concepts, practices, and procedures
-
Experience with agile project management processes such as scrum is critical for success in this role

Ability to understand technical issues at a sufficiently deep level to identify gaps
-
Strong verbal and written communication and follow up skills
-
Excellent people skills: relationship building, negotiation and collaboration in a cross-functional team comprised of diverse personalities, skills set and levels of experience

Strong advocate who can push agenda while preserving relationships

Basic knowledge of standard mobile and web technologies

BA/BS required, Master’s degree preferred. Project Management certification (PMI) preferred
